Turbo-Wash

The Turbowash replaces the pre-washing tank of the first-generation washing plants. The machine is designed according to the principles of a horizontal centrifuge and includes a combination of washing and a subsequent initial drying action. It is therefore possible to process very dirty pre-shredded material with high paper content and Aluminum foil residues. The Turbowash also improves the recovery rate of the Sink Float Tank.

On top of the inlet of the Turbowash a small cleansing vessel is installed with a high water through-flow of about 200 l/min, which eliminates pieces of metal, stones and other lumps.

The  Turbo-Wash is designed for special ruggedness (weight of the rotor about  2 t., total weight about  6 t.) and high reliability. The washing- (addition of clean water) and drying effect is caused by the high centrifugal force (1800 U/min), the impact of the rotor blades and the mutual friction of the rotating plastic material. At the same time, paper and cellulose is separated from the plastic material and is eliminated with the process water. This content can be up to  40% (e.g. for the treatment of industrial waste).
