| Costarelli is
producing a plant that produces large diameter drainage and waste-water pipes from
regenerated post-consumer
plastic waste material. Diameters range from 800 to 2400 mm.
The plant has an annual capacity of about 5000 t.

The plant works on the basis of
co-extrusion. Three extruders form together the layers of the spiral pipe.
The material is applied on a rotating tool which forms the body of the pipe. Each segment of the tool is individually cooled. For details see the brochure of KuRaRe GmbH, Germany, who are producing the pipes.
